SENIOR PASTOR

REV. DAVID J. SCHUMAN

David was born less than ten minutes from Lakeview Presbyterian Church, in Mundelein, and grew up in Geneva, IL. Desiring to continue to grow as a shepherd, he soon returned and completed a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling.

David has over 15 years of ministry experience, including helping plant a church in Spokane, Washington, working at the historic Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, and serving as an associate pastor at Exilic Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, New York City. In addition, David has published numerous articles for The Gospel CoalitionRelevant MagazineSola Network, and Westminster Magazine

David met his wife, Meifung, on the steps of Tenth Presbyterian Church, where Meifung was also a member. Soon they walked up those same steps to make vows to each other in marriage, and today, they have a fun-loving three-year-old son, David Jr.
